Will the real Man Utd please Stand Up!

It was a spell of eight days that threatened to cast a rather gloomy cloud over Jose Mourinho’ short tenure in charge of Manchester United:

Saturday September 10; a 1-2 defeat to their arch rivals across the city.

Thursday September 15; another defeat, this time 0-1 to Feyenoord in the Europa League.

Sunday September 18; the week from hell completed by a 1-3 reverse at the hands of Watford.

Yaya Toure is struggling to get playing time under Guardiola

Ever since Yaya Toure joined Manchester City back on July of 2010 and the African midfielder has managed to become a pivotal figure for the Premier League who has helped the English club in winning 2 domestic league titles, 1 FA Cup, 1 FA Community Shield and 2 Football League Cups.

Yaya Toure has consistently been making over 28 appearances in every single season at the Etihad Stadium but things has taken a huge turn as Pep Guardiola does not appear to have the midfielder in his plans.

HIGGINBOTHAM: POGBA BETTER THAN BEST YAYA TOURE

An analyst with SunSport Danny Higginbotham says that Paul Pogba is a complete midfielder and is a better player than the younger version of Yaya Toure.

Paul Pogba returned to Old Trafford after leaving four years ago due to lack of playing time and issues with wages. He returned to the club after he established himself at Italian giant Juventus, wining the Serie A every year since he joined. He broke the transfer fee record when the Red Devils paid £89 million for the deal. There have been a lot of arguments about the deal, with may doubting that the player was worth such a huge deal.

Yaya Toure might be moving to Inter Milan during the summer

There is news that Yaya Toure might be joining Inter Milan in the summer. Although Toure has one year left on his contract, it is believed that he will be leaving Manchester City in the summer.

Indeed, with the arrival of Pep Guardiola, it is hard to see Yaya Toure having enough playing time. The Spanish manager has never been a fan of the Ivory Coast player, and he was the manager that sold him to Manchester City.

5 Transfer Targets for Antonio Conte

Big managerial changes have stolen all the headlines in the Premier League this summer, with Antonio Conte taking the Chelsea hotseat following an impressive campaign with Italy at Euro 2016.

The former Juventus head coach joins Pep Guardiola in being the new big-name arrivals in England, with Conte likely to make big changes at Stamford Bridge in order to turn their fortunes around. Chelsea endured a rather disappointing season, with conflict on and off the field not only resulting in the acrimonious exit of Jose Mourinho, but also the team never came close to defending their Premier League crown.
