Toure targets Champions League

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure who has only recently returned to the first team in the Premier League is now targeting a place in the Champions League squad.

He believes he can still help the team and he is looking forward to being included in the squad that will pay the knock-out state of the Champions League.

Yaya Toure has been excluded from the Manchester City team at the beginning of the season following comments that his agent has made on Pep Guardiola. The Spanish manager had stated that the Ivory Coast international would not be playing for Manchester City again if his agent does not apologize for his comment.

We are unsure whether the agent has apologized to Pep Guardiola. However, it seems that both parties have chosen to forget this incident and given priority to football. Following his return to the team, Yaya Toure has been excellent for the team and has made some great contribution on the pitch. It is only natural that he is looking to get a place in the Champions League squad in January.

Yaya Toure said that he will do his best in order to help the team and that he believes that the club has got a great manager in Pep Guardiola. He said that the former Barcelona manager is someone that is strong tactically and that he believes that he is the right person to bring the club forward.

Yaya Toure said that Manchester City had got a great chance to win the title this season and it is important that the players follow the instructions well if they want to win matches.

He said that he stayed at Manchester City in order to participate in the Champions League and that this is why he wants to be included in the squad.
