TWO OF the area's biggest companies will go head to head in a charity football match on Thursday (April 21).
The clash, between Vax and Webbs, will take place at 7pm at the Victoria Ground, the home of Bromsgrove Sporting, and raise funds for Help for Heroes.
The evening will be supported by local servicemen, the Bromsgrove Army Cadets and the Air Cadets' percussion band, and there will also be a charity raffle and auction with prizes including meals out, golf days, garden furniture, beauty treatments and Premier League football tickets.
There will also be autographed sporting memorabilia, including an LA Galaxy shirt signed by David Beckham.
One of the Vax team organisers Justin Pugh said: “We all know someone with a friend or family member serving in Iraq, Afghanistan or somewhere else in the world, which is why we have chosen to raise money for Help for Heroes."
