RONALDO DISMISSES TRANSFER RUMOURS

Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the Old Lady this summer. The Portuguese international has been linked with a return to Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo used his Instagram account to address those transfer rumours involving a move back to Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo didn't like the frivolous manner in which his future is being addressed in the press as he said that his legendary status at Real Madrid has already been sealed. Less talk and more action has been the motto guiding Ronaldo since the start of his career as revealed by him.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had earlier addressed the transfer rumours of a possible return to the club by stating that he's not keen on re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

The future of Ronaldo at Juventus is in serious doubts with less than one year left on his existing deal. The Old Lady can't afford to give him a new contract on his current wages and they might likely let him leave the club or staying at the club could be possible if the player takes a big pay cut.

Apart from Real Madrid, five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo has also been linked with a return to Manchester United where he spent six years between 2003 and 2009 before signing for Real Madrid in a then world-record fee of £80m. French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have also been touted as the next destination for Ronaldo if he leaves Juventus next summer. The Portuguese national team skipper would be a free agent once he leaves the Old Lady next summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo spent nine years at Real Madrid before moving to Turin to play for Juventus in 2018. The Old Lady paid around €100m for his signature three years. He penned a four-year deal upon joining the club.
